i dont crate him mate , hes got the run of the house well some of it lol , i read something on the internet about this problem and it recomends u just ignore the dog when u get home until he settles down which i do , like i said in my first post i started of leaving him for short periods of 5 mins then slowly built it up to nearly an hour , ive stood outside my house for maybe 10 mins and not heard a sound but some days u would think hes being beaten to death and hes properly stressed and thats happening more often than him being quiet its really annoying lol

i recently bought a lurcher pup well hes 22 weeks old lol , hes 98% house trained , walks to heel on the lead , has a very good temperament and ive started his basic training and hes coming on fine , BUT when i leave him at home for anywhere from 5 mins to an hour he screams the house down and i mean really screams the house down , how long will it last ? hes been doing this for 3 weeks now , i started going out for 5 mins then slowly increased it to an hour and he doesnt let up till i get back , ive read up on this on the net but its not working even ignoring him when i first get home , until

ive had him a week now and he,s 95% house trained , he,s got a cracking temperament ,he,ll sit and stay , doesnt pull on the lead , and is ok with horses , but wont retrieve for toffee lol , he,ll chase anything u thow but wont fetch it back lol the bloke i got him off recons he,ll make 26 to 27 tts . oh and when do i start learning him to jump ?

i,ll put sum pics up when i figure out how to do it mate , and im going to use him for rabbits and hopefully when he gets older i,ll have a pop at mr fox lol plenty of time yet tho get the basic training done first , hes just a big dopey looking thing at the moment

firstly i,ll say hello to everyone and secondly i got a new lurcher pup 2day i say pup hes actually 19 weeks hes a proper belter lol his father is a collie greyhound x saluki greyhound , his mother is greyhound deerhound , hes broken coated and fawn in colour , im looking forward to seeing what he turns out like
