  1. and my pups are KC registered so if owt untoward was going off I am sure they would have something to say about it
  2. Define the term puppy pedlar please.. I have a three year old bitch that had three seasons before I bred her and a season after the puppies, I have not bred her to death like some people do and my website promotes my business and the fact that I am proud that I own and breed Spaniels.. I may not be able to breed Briar I may have to have her spayed due to medical reasons and her training will continue if this happens as I take my stud dog beating and next year I want a fully trained dog. I wont comment on any more of these pathetic puppy pedlar comments, think what you want to think so long
  3. That went completely over my head.. My stud dog Bracken is 4 years old and he is a rough shooting dog, he goes beating but unfortunately I didnt seek out help to train him and now hes too old to be anything more. Briar is reared from the best I bought her from Wales and due to a career change I now have time to train her. I would hardly call me a puppy pedlar
  4. Cheers mark, I have sorted it going to give a bird called Jane a go, shes been recommended by a few of the local lads but I may need that guys number if it doesnt work out with Jane.
  5. Hi Does anyone know of a good gundog trainer in south yorkshire area? I have a springer bitch 7 months and I just want some tips on how to train her. I have heard a lady called Jane is quite good but I cant find her number online.. Any suggestions on trainers welcome
  6. Cheers mick, I have called Darren and got Bracken booked in for next Friday for some one on one Hopefully he will make a sound Dog and I will get some tips for when Briars old enough to start training. Cheers for all your help I will keep you updated on his progress, hoping it wont be too long before hes something like and I can try him out. Many thanks Steph

  9. As per my previous post I am wanting to buy a gun to get my spaniels used to the sound whilst training and was wondering if the Olympic 6 Orange Revolver Starting Pistol Blank Firer would be any good its pretty cheap but dont want to pay expensive as I am hoping to more on to bigger and better things eventually
  10. what you think, will a Olympic 6 Orange Revolver Starting Pistol Blank Firer do for now??
  11. Thanks for that, see I just dont know where to start but really appreciate all your help
  12. I have started training my spaniels but really need to sort out my gun license sorted out and buy an air rifle just to get them used to the noise etc, just looking for ideas on what rifles I should be looking at, it will be used for training purposes only so not looking to pay extortionate amounts of money. Any suggestions?
  13. Thanks for the reply, she’s doing great now a few weeks on antibiotics have sorted her, although she still pees on the floor quite frequently but I have put that done to nerves. She’s got a few days left on the tablets but I think she’s sorted
