  1. i use the plastic electric fence poles mate and they are lightweight and work perfect, also i can get you them but they are £1.75 each but i am sure someone does them cheaper on her and if they do then let me know aswell please,

  2. remember to not feed your ferrets pork, chocolate, ham or anything to salty as this can kill them and i would also put some good locks on the hutch as they are lttle hudini's and even when not working them try your best to handle them as much as possible and get a good gutting knife like opinell and they are no more than £20 to buy but are perfect and last long if kept clean and oiled, good luck

  3. do a bloody search instead of posting stuff already coverd, and if u dont know this then u shouldnt be breeding them anyways ffs!!!

to many assholes having a dig at lads on this sight, dont like the posts dont look simple!!! :censored:

dont matter what you put up on here you will get ripped 30% GOOD LADS 70% WANKERS

spot on coz when i first started i did not even know how to use a search bar...dont look if its something already covered...good luck 30% of you and bol4cks to the other 70%

  4. the old wives tail is only hunt rabbit the months that have an R in but skip march as you do get baby rabbits in march but in the meantime i suggest that if you are gonna go ahead and get another ferret then get yourself a good finder,me personally would say the mk3 but learn how to use the l.e.d's then you will appreciate it,get yourself a good ferret carry box, spade, hemp or spun nylon purse nets, ferreting book by james mckay and dont use your ferret untill september but handle from now till then everyday also it is a waiting game so your gonna need alot of patience also put the collar on the ferret tight but not to tight, make sure you can turn it on there neck but not pull it over there head and remember to keep quite when ferreting, good luck mate

  5. may seem like a stupid question but am collecting a patterjack pup next week and he will be 8 weeks old but still has his tail and duke claws, needed to know if anyone knows of anywhere near watford, hatfield or anywhere near to these area's that would still do it or is it to late to be done and roughly how much it would cost please

  6. Our council[complete W*****s] wanted to do away with the xmas tree in the town square in case we offended "anyone" well there was an outcry and they put it up,but this kind of bullshit does my head in,its OUR country,if they are offended f**k OFF back where you came from,ASAP.

steve i totally agree mate and to be honest why are we not allowed to hunt this type of vermin,if we was allowed how many people woould join me on a hunting weekend

  7. What government in any civilised country in the world apart from England would try to keep down a political party who put their own nation first.

How many groups are there that dictate that their members only come from select races and get away with it....but how dare any man or group of men dare to say they want something thats only for white english people in england.

These corrupt c.unts are pushing english people further and further away from england.Like many others im at the point now where i cant see any future in england and am on the verge of moving abroad,no man is more loyal to his country than me but we all have our limits and these kinds of political corruption are the final nails in the coffin.

knocking down old english churches to make mosque's,dinner ladies cant wear st christophers coz it ofeends, well it is england and if you dont like it then go to your own country where you like the rule, doubt it because england is anyone's country apart from anyone us born and bred here,,,it a load of b~l~ocks

  8. Heres a different one for you, this little fella isn't a ferret at all but a "Khonorik" that is a mink cross EU polecat.

The cross originated in Russia for the fur trade but they are now making an appearance in the UK.

He's a cracker FT do you use him for working? I would'nt mind getting my hands on one of them he's a nice looking fella.

    ATB Paddy

Hi Paddy in answer to your question yes i have given him a shot at working but you have to watch him like a hawk as he is so damn fast, not sure if he will settle down with time at the moment he flies through warrens and you have to be ready to grab him when he comes out or he is off to the next hole he can find.

Still when all is said and done he is just a curiosity at the moment but is good to handle never tries to bite.

  9. I have used different ways of carrying Long Nets and in my opinion, the basket is hard to beat where a quick set is concerned for ferreting. Unless you actually want to use a traditional net, I would at least try a basket and you may well surprise yourself. I have always found them light and easy to manage. To use a Traditional net and carry it in a bucket...In a game bag along with poles would seem to me to be a quickset basket in a roundabout way anyway....Why buy a bag, and push a bucket into it and risk it falling out, snagging and being a nuisance, when a basket is just is light...

If your worried about it spilling and moving around when your slinging it over fences and pulling it through hedges, It can be secured very well with the help of a bungey cord or a bit of rope, and theres no risk of it going anywhere.

Failing all that.....You can just pull it together, tie it, and throw it over your shoulder, As it is used by its creator... thumbs.gif

If you are interested I have designed and Produce in a very small way a folding quickset basket

I have been using it for some time and it has proven very sucessfull

It can be folded and carried on your back and it leaves your hands free

If you are interested PM me

    Cheers

Where do you put your quickset net when you are using your folding quickset basket?

i just had a look at the pics for this basket and it looks a nice job,but it only shows the basket folded up with the poles in,no net,i might be wrong but i can't see 2x50yrd nets fitting in that folded basket, maybe you can post pics to prove me wrong, atbthumbs.gif

As requested I will put up some pics of my folding longnet basket

the net in the pics has been changed for a smaller mesh
