That’s a question I’ve asked myself mate . One half of me says it would look great on the wall but another side says why shoot it I have enough already .Years ago wouldn’t of been an issue but older you get ,killing seems less important .
If you dont somebody else will.i have been watching a goose watched him for 5 years comes every year but not this year looks like Canada x barnicle white head yellow feet

I shoot 3" and 3 1/2" out of my A400 Extrema and you cannot tell the difference in the speed of the shot.Give the same lead on them with either cartridge and if you get it right you will drop them.
Well you never got it right when I was showing you how to.go.on.whats that about 4 years ago just keep practicing

I have recently joined a wildfowling club for the season ahead, after speaking to a few friends who also do a fair bit of wildfowling I have been told more than once I should consider buying a 3 1/2” chambered gun? None of the clubs land is on the foreshore it is only really marshland and on the river so is 3 1/2” really necessary or will I be ok to use my normal 3” chambered gun?
Cheers
Dan
You will find 3 1/2 shot a lot slower if you have not shot geese stick to the 3in will be easier to work your lead out .hope it helps

Does it attract planning regs though? Is there a size limit. A small splash fed with wheat would pull The teal and mallard for him.
If not I read somewhere about a guy who rolled out clear plastic under the moon, laid some decoys on it and shot duck over it as they were thinking it was a splash. Maybe that was a tall tale though.
i think a couple of years ago some geese tryed to land on the moterway i know swans have done it

lovely russells mate the type i always had

Yes they have to take off into the wind to give them lift and they land into the wind.when it is very windy you have a good chance has they come in low but most of the time same flight lines it's just guessing the right 1.0
-
Its very hard decaying at this time of the year .the best thing to do like we are doing is watch them then get their a hour before theycomeoff like pigeons they use the same.flightlines get under them have a great hour or so.hope this helps you buddy
