Hi sorry to bother you guys but i tryed to feed my ferrets some quail and they showed no intrest i thought it could be that they are not hungry as they always has food in their bowl, is this a bad think that they wont eat the quail or is it that they are still young. I also let them play with a dummy bunny and they showed some intrest.

  4. Hi my new ferrets are still nipping me, but they are not doing it as bad as first should i keep doing what am doing which is holding them and if they try to bite i flick their nose. Cheers Daniel

  7. Hi i am just asking when do i start getting my ferrets ready for the field for example do i start feeding them rabbit now or closer to the time that i start working them and what is the best method of training them. They are 10-11 weeks old. Thanks Daniel

I wasn't that old back then in my earley twenties I would think. the male would fly all day every day at 2lb 3, but Hunted at its best at around 2lb 1, the top weight was a tad under 2lb 8 kitted out.... This is not to say the rest will fly at this as they all different even if they come out the same weight... Thanks and yeh i do have someone to drive me about and wait i also have all the money ready for the equipment,avairy and for a male red tail and i have been working with a falconer so i have all the know how on how to look after a bird and hunt and i live in penicuik 'scotland' and i have grounds i was just looking for a new place thanks so much for your offer i will think about it.   13. hi mate before you even think of getting a bird you need to have some knowledge about keeping them get youself a mentor and you must have hunting ground(with quarry on it) sorted before buying a bird longears nice catch and harris i have been working with a falconer for a long time now and i have a lot of knowledge about falconry and how to look after a bird of prey so no worrys there i also have grounds with a rabbit warren i was just wonudering is there any where that i could mayby use when i get my bird. Thanks (nice catch)
