    Hi, After a couple of missed bunnies last week I decided to give my CZ 452 a good barrel clean today and then me and my brother went to our permission to re-zero the scope. After 20 mins or so the .17 was shooting smack on so we decided to have a walk to see what was about. Saw a couple of rabbits and crows but they had done one by the time we were about 300yrds away from them. Just as dusk was setting in we were on the way back to the car when we knocked a fox up out of the adjacent hedge. He ran for about 60 yrds then curiosity got the better of him and he stopped to see what had stirred

    No reason really. The rifle came along at the right time for the right price so i took it.

    Hi peeps, Just purchased myself a used .17HMR CZ American with 20" barrel. I'm thinking about chopping it down to 16" and was wondering about the pro's and con's of getting it done. I've priced it up at £90 inc total service, trigger tuning and accuracy set up with my local firearms dealer. Most of my shooting is done on foot but occasionally out of a vehicle. Any info about ballistics or range shortening would be really helpful in me making my mind up. Cheers in advance

    Hi, Put in for my coterminous cert middle of December '09. .22lr & .17hmr. .22 for rabbits/vermin & .17 for long range rabbit & Fox. FEO came last thursday and my certificates arrived in the post on sat morning. Good times. Obviously no problem with my force using the hmr for fox. Only question was the land really so as long as your permission is passed off for .17hmr i dont think you will have any problems. Good luck.

    Hi peeps, Just been granted my s/g & f/a/c. Waiting for paperwork to be delivered so i'm after a .17 HMR rifle. Pref laminate/synthetic stock. Complete set up or rifle only as i've got a scope already. In midlands area and willing to travel. Cheers, Lee.
