Thanks for the suggestions went to The Sportsman in Exeter today and got one ,but couldn`t get my husband out of the shop for ages!!!!!!!!Good shop but I`d rather be in a dress shop !!

hi can anyone recommend where I can get a pheasant carrier for my Dad for Christmas. He wants the type that you can put over your shoulder. He picks up on a local shoot and has lost his previous one.

My Dad used to make cider & he always used old whisky barrels - he even sometimes got a 'bonus' as there was sometimes a small amount of whisky left in the bottom! If you do make your own press, be sure not to allow any ferrus metal to come into contact with the apple juice in the press/run off as it can taint the cider.

Hi Just thought I would `tell you about the new Warrener DVD that I have just bought. It has some great recipes on it all using Game. The recipes are easy to follow and are quite different. My husband is a fan of his and got me the DVD as a present. I suppose I`ll have to start cooking what he shoots now!! I`ve tried a few of them already especially the pheasant bites. Just wondering if anyone else has bought it and what they think of it
