I’ve had greyhounds most of my life and still own 2 there’s very few that are running out of steam at 450 mts

a greyhound may run 16 yards a second handicap over 100 meter it won’t over 450 meters mate lol
side note if i put a whippet over my bitch the pups wouldn’t have more speed lol or id a done it a long time ago like when i’ve had half saluki greys that are slower then me coursing bred lol
What makes you think a greyhound is slowing down at 450 mts all good greyhounds are still running on strong at 480 mts and further

Yes mate it's very rare you here of one man n his dog getting much bother you have to adapt and also try to see things from there point of view aswell, I know we all know but imagine how it feels to wake up n see your seeded fields destroyed from tossers driving all over it of a night or a morning it is there lively hood after all we'd be fuming or dogs running through sheep when tupping etc then a good lad just out for abit of sport ends up copping for it.
I’m out daytime 2 or 3 times a week all the farmers about here know me and know I respect there property I’ve been at it for over 50 years with very little hassle

Hard game now now especially for the scotch lads buy there's still a few good boys flying the flag.
I honestly think mate that if you have your head screwed on and are polite have your dogs to trained and don't need someone to hold your hand when you go you'll be fine, alot of it is about first impressions i know its obvious but there really is a big difference from licking eyes on one man n his dog zig zaging your stubble to two lads with two dogs a peace wearing trackies spread out across your land etc etc
I’m in Scotland only go out myself but get a lot less hassle than the lads in England get

With the type I keep I like to pick the one that looks like it’s thrown furthest away from the saluki! Temperament wise I like a nice calm pup, nothing shy or nervous.
Why do you go for something with saluki in it in the first place

Well better companies out there and a lot cheaper just do some research you will find them, all that vat packed and stickers and labels ye paying way over the odds. try Middleton raw dog food it’s Manchester ways but delivers all over
Tried Middletons thought it was very poor quality

Not these days but in the past ive seen full greyhounds being worked, they were there for the same intentions that you have with them ...breeding them.
Now if your breeding from one test it...and I mean test it...if it dont like it get rid and start again... after all this will be the foundation of any future pups and there nothing worse than starting with an iffy one.
I hope when u say get rid u mean rehome

The transporter I use is £80 but I’m not sure I would want to put a pup of that age in one

it’s fairly obvious you know very little about racing greyhounds
