Dont worry about what is in her l know.I have the dam and mate as the sire.The dam is over 7 year old and the bitch is just over two .This topic not bout my dogs its about ferreting dogs and told you go into ferreting section and you can see my dogs lets see yours then MR MINSHAW

I use a lucher x lucher breed bitch ( my own breeding) for ferreting but have had few good ferret dog years back go into the ferreting section and the topic the ferreter has up and you see my bitch (ferreting sunday)

Watch what run around???? l don't get enjoyment off a ferret going down and a rabbits hitting a net but its has to be done at times.You can still catch good numbers with out nets if you have good enough dog, that is why they have a bed and get feed to do the job there suppose too do be it ferret or lamp.

Fishing and lobsters there you go again off in your own we world whin.Its not always about numbers l rather watch a dog and ferret work together as a team then 30 rabbits hit a net and get there necks broke.And hare coursing is only a sport when your matching or in a comp.I go most weekends and its hunting not sport but l see things different then you thank god lol

l agree with you anyone can stand out side a sett and watch the holes holding a dog by the collar and waiting on a bolter even a none ferreting dog will act once its see a bolter but that this time the rabbits as prop got 30 yards on a dog like that . A good ferret dog should know where and when the rabbit is going make bolt for it and should be on the rabbits ass in 1st two strides .

Its not sport its hunting with dog and ferret.Ferreting is not about netting all the holes not when you have a dog that is why you jhave dog in the 1st place.If your going net everything don't bring a dog. The word sport sucks in the hunting world in any sport there is always money involved or a trophy at the end off it or something to win thats what sport is.Hunting is hunting sport is sport

Whin listen to what your saying there.You said the dog had faults and not worth breeding but worth keeping for 6 years????? In your eyes she was finished and you pasted her on to someone else to deal with.Out sight out mind comes into play here.

l brought my own dog out with her mother when she was old enough,6 7 months old plus nothing less.Yes the pup gets walked though sheep brought on walks where there is rabbits and stuff about but not out hunting but that is you way not mine. Pup as to be field wise before going on it 1st hunting.Able to get over rivers,fences over or though and gates able to walk though live stock with out running about worrying them.PUP AS SO MUCH TO LEARN BEFORE ITS 1ST HUNT no ones saying they let a 3 month old pup run a rabbit,,, if you think catching bolters is a ferreting dogs only purpose,, it le

If dog gives you 5,6 good years deserves a place at the fire not ship out to someone else just to make space for your new dog not into that at all.If you where getting rid should have did it well before the age 6.That why pets homes are full old luchers past there time

More owner have problems then there dogs fact. Some are just blind too what there dog is doing wrong and only see the good in there dogs and never the wrongs puts my head away

you probably hit the nail on the head there whin you gave it away with ferreting men its not about money He give it away at 6 so took him 6 years to find out that it did not suit him does not make any sense

10 weeks old the pup just left its dam 4 weeks before.I take it you only did one two fields if even.A pup that age just be a pain but that is your way and it has worked for you

A pup should not be brought out until it as the speed to catch a rabbit in my eyes.There is lots off other things a pup can be learning while its growing to much people rush pups and there is no need Why bring out a pup that can not catch or even get close its just going yap the place down trying.

So why do you talk like your better then everyone else you and your dogs you talk down to people like they know f**k all and you are the only one that knows the hunting game.Dont need to see or go out with any other mans dogs l worry about 3 dogs and that is the ones l have out my back what other men or women do with there dogs that is up to them.I like hearing other peoples different ways they hunt be it lamping ,digging,ferreting,coursing but you sim to have it your head its your way or no way and that if its not your way its wrong.

Whin your so far up your own hole its unreal,no one can do anything right in your eyes you always have something to say MR perfect hunter wise up and taking people out for payment that is how low you are sad really.So you said you going put up few clips lets see this wonder dogs so we can all know what to aim for in the lamping and ferreting world when it comes too a good dog.

aye ice bolted a few for the dogs , thought you lot had educated archie mongan a bit better , havnt lamped it in years dosent hold the numbers that it used to , cracking big fields .farmers have ploughed a couple of massive warrens up ffs which dosent help , we would do a lot of terrier work on the land , atb 123 Its like trying to educated pork f**k sake in one ear out the other,and he just gets worse as the season goes on best luck with that lol course it bitch looks in good shape in that photo.Sure we get night out on the lamp once that moon fucks off

There not for sale like most things that are good at the job a good ferreting or lamping dog is as good as a good hare or fox dog just depends on who as it. To me a good ferreting and lamping dog is worth there weight in gold.

Should have listen to iceman and headed down too his other spots instead off heading up that way its burned out few years back you got a good bag up there but now days its done ferreted ,shot, and lamped to death take few years before any off that land gets back to the way it was if it ever does.But end day better out then sitting on the sofa looked like you got the weather for it.Sure there always next week
