    Show me a line of Bedlingtons that hasn't got minature Poodle crossed into it. Nothing against Poodles (Very very clever dogs) but clever tends to contradict gameness.

    Me and my boy hunt white rabbits. Thanks for the positive comments I've been getting, not so sure about the rest!!! To repeat Brian was ok, I forgot to mention he gave my lass (ex) a Bengal Leopard Cat, He bred quite a few I know TC from Rowlands Gill ended up with all his studs I believe. Who now is writing (I know I'm repeating myself) kids now aren't into hunting, Brian inspired more than anyone to keep the dog cause alive!

    Brian was ok, we all exaggerate and boast, F **k me, when I fish my arms grow 4 feet. Who now is writing, who is inspiring people, who can tell a tale?

    The Bedlington was never bred as a rabbiting dog, yes they were crossed into Whippets to 'fire them up' but they were foremost a baiting/fighting dog, chuck them into a coal truck and see who comes out. Miners couldn't afford to keep specialised fighting dogs, when things got rough, the big dogs went, that's why The Blue Paul' the fighting bull from SW Northumberland went the journey.

    The last time i hunted with Brian I was with Eddie Metcalf (from Birtley) and we were hunting (rabbits were spaniels).
