    Haha yeah mate, well i did actually make a bird trap thing with some old chicken wire i found, put it in my garden but no luck, i made 1 snare out of some crab line and some wire that i found, but the wire all frayed and didnt work properly lol,

    Well my step nan owns a small farm just down the road where i currently snare, but she wont let me shoot there, i have no idea if there is a keeper local to me, and to be quite honest mate i would rarther just snare and ocasionally shoot with an air rifle, i am ok on the farm for now, but ofcourse i will be looking for more permissions later on, probably next year now. My grandad is the only one that could accompany me on these shoots ect, and he has a dodgey heart so he cant walk that far, and he dosent like loud noises, unfortuatly all of my family except for him are antis :\

    Yeeah i know, but i have to travel something like 30 miles to my nearest shop that sells them, so its hard for me to get there ect. order them online mate No credit card, and if you know what i mean my parents wont let me spend my money on "silly" things like that, my mom used to be a horse rider and so she loves " cute little bunnys " but she cant get it into her head that they are pests, ive asked numerous times if she can order me some, with no avail.

    Cheers mate, but i only thought that cause of people saying to me that i have been asking on this forum before, when i haven't ever been on this forum, or ANY hunting forum on the internet before, until 4 days ago.

    What the? Ive never ever been on these forums before, i dont know who you think i am but im a straight up 14 year old boy looking for some free stuff. i will happily pay for postage lol, infact, if i meet up with stu ( sumo ) then i will get him to veify that i actually am legit lool i was talking to bobba friend yeah i know, sorry mate, i just get annoyed because people pick on kids for no reason.

    Cheers guys, im just trying to get talking with some nice people and get some advice, i ask for things because basically my family dosent have alot of money and i have only got a few snares, im not begging im just saying if your going to throw it away you might aswell give it to someone like me

    Which is what i am trying to do on this forum, i live in a very urban area so noone around here really hunts, and what do you mean trust me? if i was an adult i would not be scrounging for old used snares and underwear with lots of skidders haha, anyway if you dont want to trust me then dont, but i really am legit and hopefully at least ONE of you will belive me

    Yeah ok, im 14, seriously if you were in my position you would be doing the same thing, am i hurting anyone by kindly asking for any spare stuff that otherwise people would probably throwing away?? im not forcing people to give me all they're stuff am i?? when i came to this forum i thought it was full of decent people who give kid like me advice, and dont go around criticising people because they asked other hunters for some gear, seriously get a life.

    None today either :\ i had to take them down though because there was about 5 cats lurking about and i would hate to catch one in a snare, has anyone ever done that?

    I was 12 or 13 there now i am 14 lol, i was thinking about getting a HW but my grandad has a lightning that he is going ot get rid of soon, and seen as i am his favourite grandson i should be able to get it cheap

    Haha thanks guys , i live in wolverhampton and the woods i shoot in are down by cotwall end, i dont thind your supposed to shoot there but my uncle has been shooting there for over 20 years, and suprisingly mate there is very few rabbit over there, my uncle said that he has never shot one over there and mine was the first hed seen shot there.
