  1. Don't think there is a ideal cross to be fair. We all got are preferred types it's not just the breed it's what you put into it. When I was a wee lad and was keen out with the dogs every day/night had average muts and caught loads. Now I am a old fecker and not so keen the results speak for themselves. As long as it is quick enough for what you want it to catch got the minarals to do the job and you can get on with it that's ideal for me lol

  2. My Mrs has just finished a picture of my moms dog for her birthday. Was impressed with it so thought i would share it with you guys. It,s made with tiny plastic beads which took her about a week to do,she says there 40 thousand beads in it. The photo does not do it justice but you get the idea. Going to get her to do one of the lurches and ferretsIMG_20200811_174655.jpg.99d49c03bae90ea076df62c68e0d1277.jpg

why not try what the vet said? you paid for his opinion.

He is a good vet but when he tells me I should not feed raw food but cook all meat makes me think I am better of testing the waters with you lads on here. Not saying I won't put a few spuds in with there grub. Made them a stew meat veg and potatoes they ate everything but the spuds lol

I wouldn’t get supplements for the calcium. Just add things to its grub that are higher in calcium. Bone, egg shells, broccoli, sardines etc. Not sure what the adding rice and potatoes is for?

He has plenty of chicken frames just thought a supplement may do him some good. as for the potatoes and rice He is Andrea  Pretorius  replacement and he used to say give them potatoes too lol

  8. Took me old dog to vets yesterday to get a him checked over and get a blood test done.He is a tough old fecker and don,t show pain much but was a bit out of sorts but nothing i could put my finger on. Anyway  got the results today and he says got some liver problem not bad but says it can be sorted through diet. he said feed more rice and potatoes and calcium supplement . He is a good vet but don't reckon diet is his best subject lol  . I feed them raw most of the time with a bit of tinned or kibble and a bit of veg. Been looking for a multi supplement to add to is diet any of you guys got any advice on the best one to get ,been looking on the net but its full of different shit  and a bit confusing for a thick old fecker like me. Anyone point me in the right direction would be appreciated

  10. This fella likes to guard me and the yard. Don,t know for sure if he would bottle it when push comes to shove. He has never been tested . Have tried to keep him social  and well mannered but got a feeling he would not back down.He got two natural guard dog breeds in him 615261882_murph22.jpg.93cd45f8ee3d87ff401fbabe77227f75.jpg

  11. Have not had a walk out with my lad and is dog for a long time. Just back in after a couple of hours with them nothing heavy just a steady amble and a natter. Nothing much about to speak of but the dogs had a bit of exercise and we were happy to watch them feck about.   Enjoyed spending a bit of time with him not that i would tell him lol
