Tuffty We had this conversation on another site. In this pedigree Ice is out of SpartacusxWhisp and Whisp is out of SpartacusxJess. In the third line of the pedigree Spartacus features 6 lines out of 8.

Ozzydogman whats the makeup of the bitch because if she has SWAMPFOX in her background she might have some white fell blood in her. Are the white pups all white or have they got markings on them.

Ozzydogman. Was the patterdale dog used bred in bringelly by predator kennels. If the parents are cruizer and josie I have a five generation pedigree of their breeding somewhere here and if I can remember correctly there were two white staffs in there somewhere. I bought a couple of pups by a similar bred dog out of the original line imported by Roger Bryant in 1994 as outcrosses. Fair bit of staff behind L . Aplin,s Grip with D. Wheelers Snapper and Sally II. Ken Goulds Blackjack had staff behind him too. Predator kennels had their dogs imported in 2002 and they were sourced by one Brian Nutt

The bull cross is one of the finest looking running dogs on the planet today. Found them easy to train but better suited to larger game. On foxes they tended to be poor killers and maul rather than kill their fox straight out but as far as an all round dog for the average hunter you would not pass up a WELL BRED bull cross.

Australian cattle dogs are rarely used for cattle work in Australia anymore and what would be the point of using them in a lurcher cross . No running dogs in Australia are based on cattle dog blood. The last thing you need is a lurcher that will bite someone.

Yes that is over a thousand dollars to get a bellman&flint to your door in australia with 140 dollars import duty on that. The deben unit retails for about a third of that.

Yan Yean produce store in whittlesea Melbourne sells the Deben MK3. Their number is 03 97162353. The bellman&flint is the best bit of kit but costs over a grand by the time it gets to your door in australia.

Just wanted to know if it was common to have them up to 9 months of age in the breed as I have had this happen a few times before. Never had it happen with another breed past the age of 4 and a half months of age.

Got a KC bred bitch that takes rabbit and fox. Bred her to the fastest racing KC dog in Australia and have four pups I wouldn't part with. All have good stamina and can work out of a vehicle. As long as you remember a whippet is for short sharp bursts you won't be disappointed.

Usually don't hunt with terriers during summer due to them finding snakes but hunt with staghounds or other running dogs that only care for their game.

Beef, roo and a good quality working dog kibble with a protein content of more than 20 percent and a fat content of more than 12 percent. The odd rabbit or chicken carcass when available.
