    Mixy

my usual ferreting ground has started with rabbits in various stages of mixy. Is it still safe for these to be given as ferret food, they usually have a few days in the freezer before getting eaten.
  3. i'm looking for a first cross beddy/whippet pup rough coated, a friend of mine recommended a place he had one from some years back but im having trouble finding out how to contact them or if they still breeding. they are poachers pocket and they bred the beddy whippet........any clues please would be appreciated.......
  4. Is breaking out the ferrets

  5. Is it going to be the vet time again, one of my hobs has a lump in his throat getting on for half size a golf ball. it doesn't seem to bother him and is eating as normal but i have never seen anything like it. Any ideas or is it going to cost me ????????????
  6. our lass has a habit of shredding every bit of paper she finds, would that be decent ferret bedding for this winter??????
  7. advice please from any one who has had a dog with one of these pleae.....a four year old ESP who is generally fit as a fiddle has developed a small growth on the flap of his right ear. It is about the size of a tick but is covered in skin which is red raw and appears to have blood circulating through it. It isn't painful to him but concerning. No other symptoms consistant of parasites or other injuries......
  8. well what ever it was has burst after some furious play fighting probably leaving behind what held it on the skin, not sure if thats good news or bad??????????????????????
  9. its not flat or a scab from them nobbing, it stands out of the skin just big enough for it to be pulled off if i was sure it wouldn't leave anything behind.
  10. I,ve got two strong hobs about 18 months old and are in dam good shape, though over the last couple of days i've noticed that one of them has a small tick or parasite on its back. It looks as though its blood red and is only tiny at the minute but what is it and how can i get shut?????
