Straight & Hurdle Thursday 16th August Show & Racing ( NL & RC Qualifier ) Judging for showing starts 2.00pm with racing to follow. Now ther's two clubs going you better keep your dogs extra fit !

Stall holders welcome free of charge. Bar & catering with B-B-Q in the pub next to field

    Llansadwrn Dog Racing Club, Llansadwrn, Carmarthenshire, SA19 8HH Next race meeting. Friday 18th May. Straight, Hurdle & Long Jump Competition. The club runs a points scheme for members (if you didn't join at the first meeting no worries your points will be added when you join) points awarded to 1st 2nd 3rd placings in all races & long jump competition, trophies will be presented at the end of the season at our Christmas Buffet Presentation Evening in The Sexton Arms. Please note you don't have to join but we hope you do!

    We thought it went pretty well for the first event and thanks to everyone who came, we will improve! with the money raised we have bought new and better equipment ie: new hurdles and a long jump, so we will get better equipment for the dogs, I would like to do a high jump competition, but I have not seen one done so any ideas? let me know. The next race meeting is Friday 18th May 1st race 6.30pm. But I will keep you all posted so you don't forget!

    Thanks for your encouragement. Before we start the club we need to raise funds, so next Sunday (11th March ) we are having a Jumble Sale in The Sexton Arms, Llansadwrn, starting at 1.00pm, so they should some good bargains to grab, along with a raffle, there will be a cake stall and bar snacks are available. Should be a bit of fun. Be nice if some of you can come along and support us! You could also Donate some Jumble!!

    A few of us are considering on forming the Llansadwrn Terrier & Lurcher Club. Many of you may have been to our annual show in June, The venue is Llansadwrn, Carmarthenshire. Just putting feelers out to see how much support we may get ? And yes ! Racing will be the main point of the club. Please take time to let me know what you think
