We find if we're trying to get the weight on, especially after a season, that minced tripe and chicken mix works well with their normal biscuits. We boil it up and then let it cool and pour the "juice" on their biscuits as well.
That pic was taken last week.. so she's a bit bigger now. She's due 23rd August so a little bit longer before she pops!
Molly is racing whippet x greyhound and sire is Rebus greyhound/deerhound/collie whippet x Greyhound/beddlington/whippet
Saw and felt them moving over the weekend, so strange but amazing.. Such a proud "to be" grandmother..
Just had to share...
Picture of one of the babies that seems to be trying to get out already!
And another of molly with a big belly full of babies..
Thanks guys, I'm so excited about it but want to be as full prepared as I can even just to know whats normal and to leave her to it..
Thanks skycat I will look it up and get a copy, the whole subject is fascinating me!
Our lurcher bitch is due 23rd August.. was just wondering if anyone advice or whelping stories for me? I can't get enough information about it and seem to be spending my evenings either reading about whelps or watching youtube videos. My partner has bred bitches before but its a first time for me.
She's been a brilliant text book pregnancy so am hoping for the same for the birth, fingers and paws crossed

By the way if anyones interested my patterdale bitches parents (owned by a friend) had a second litter yesterday so will be ready in a couple of months. Let me know if you or anyone you know would be interested and I'll keep you updated. Chocolates and blacks 3 bitches, 3 dogs.
I'd just like to add that I had a brilliant day on Sunday and couldn’t be more proud to have come home with a Champion Terrier Trophy for my Patterdale bitch.
I certainly didnt see anything untoward going on during the day and can guarantee that I've never met any of the judges before.
I think its a real shame that people feel the need to criticise the effort put in to creating these events, it was lovely to be able to show my dogs on my doorstep for once without having to travel the country. I really hope these comments don't ruin the chance of these events being repeated.
Thanks to the
