Just returned to the UK after 22 years in the Army. Spent the last 5 years living/working/hunting in Germany. Great time out there got to hunt boar , roe , fallow, red and all small game/vermin. Done through the British Army hunting group who get invites from German hunters/landowners all over the country. More traditionally set up over there , hunting is a big thing , and you're not made to feel like a savage outcast when you say you hunt game. Started shooting overe here again in a Syndicate in the Scottish Borders, hard going but enjoyable , especially as most of the shooting in Germany is from high seats or driven Game.
