    I was there when the fox was in the lake I was also there rugby World Cup final day when England won I had watched every game apart from that one But hunting came first Every body was trying to get the score on radios and phones lol Good night in the pub (happy days )

    Hi everybody A few years ago when I used to follow hounds (a fare few now ) Every body was mad on hunt badges used to spend half the day pissing about swapping with other followers if we went up to the lakes for example Sold all mine some years back and they went for some good money It was about the time hunts clicked on and started changing design or colour every season Still got a few hunt buttons ( and would never part with the otter stuff I have mainly buttons But was just interested if people still collect stuff like we did ( I know darcy who I think puts stuff on here used to

    My mistake (is it Richard ) Last time I went out near belper Good fun they even had a dig on a mink about 5 ft I could not believe it lol Might try and get out again this year

    I do not think Richard hunts them I no he has hunted them in the. Past He used to hunt the derby notts and staffs beagles and was pretty good I did hear that it was a girl hunting them I rember a girl whipping in for Greg but I am going back some years ?

    Me feels there is a touch of sarcasm there lol So nobody looks over there shoulder when entering a dog permission or not can you ever be 100% shore what's there ?

    Don't get me wrong I am still keeping the terrier I have I'm out Saturday with my mate He has been working terriers for over 40 years I have been goining out with him for over 25 years and I still learn something every time we go out ( he has been there done it got the tshirt) He has built up thousands of acres of permission And he also is down to his last terrier The thing is it just does not seem the same anymore I think the buzz has gone I'm just as happy with a quick bolt than a dig I just think it's time for a change and was thinking how many have packed up ? Then missed it

    Cheers mate In a ideal world I would love to but I am not one for leaving dogs in kennels and limited on time In the week Shoot every Saturday through the season driven phesant and the terrier is stuck on couples most of the day as there is a set in every piece of cover we beat and some nasty rock piles mate lost a dog last season Just thinking it would be more sensable to get a cocker

    Hi all I'm thinking of giving up the terriers for spaniel A couple of reasons first I'm nearly 50 and my best mate is now in his 60,s we've had some fun over the years but I am getting fed up of looking over my shoulder all the time We are now doing more game shooting and a dog that retrieves rather than a terrier that half eats any phesant it comes across May be a bonus I'm down to my last terrier (border) I had her from db at the holderness and to be honest I've not given her the work she deserves Has any body else given up the terriers ? And regretted it Cheers all
