    well people i am new on here and was just wondering what ya think of whippets,for lamping and a bit of ferriting,bought a whippet today a bitch she is 8 months old and a bit nervous,she is very small type so i just was wondering what are they like on the lamp,and can i get her used to ferrets,and that have a picture but not great and after a bit of handling id say she would get used to me thanks

    THANKS FOR THE REPLIES LADS MY FRIEND HAS A 12V 12AMP BATTERY THAT MIGHT LAST LONGER,SO IT MUST BE THE LAMP ITSELF THE STRIKER 170 THATS USING UP ALL THE POWER

    ALRIGHT LADS BUT IS THAT ALL THAT BATTERY PACK SHOULD LAST THE 12V 7AMP ONLY ABOUT A HALF AN HOUR

    NEW ON HERE LADS,SO JUST IF I COULD GET A LITTLE HELP ON THIS WOULD BE GREAT,I GOT A NEW LAMP A 170 STRIKER I THINK IT IS,AND A BATTERY PACK IT IS 12-7.0 IT ONLY LASTS ABOUT A HALF AN HOUR AND THAT IS TURNING IT ON AND OFF,WHAT BATTERY PACK SHOULD I OF GOT,THAT WOULD LAST ABOUT A HOUR OR TWO MAYBE.EVEN LONGER IF I COULD GET IT.

    going to bring him out tonight on the lamp tonight and just see what he is like,and get him going a bit and then keep him for the big ears,that is what he was bred for

    no lads no collie in there at all,but saluki yes very clever dog well trained jumpin the lot,very well pleased wit him
