how old are jills on average when they first come into season ?? i've got 2 females the same age 9 mths old . one i think is coming into season , the other isnt , yet . if it is what are my options ?? i dont want to breed from them. what about the injection ?? or when does a snipped male be put in to bring her out ??? cheers .

as it says hopefully im going ferreting . ive got ferrets, carry box , spade , locator ,nets , russell for marking holes i hope !! but a few questions . any thing else i'll need ??? and if i get manage to catch any rabbits once i've dispatched them whats the easiest way to gut them ???

as it says above , ferrets are 6 mths old now , dog is fine with them . carry box i made which was a win for me . made it in work time so got paid for making it !!!! and used firms materials !!! laminated it inside for easy wiping down .

i've got a smooth jack russell whos 2 yrs .hes goes in and out of house of a day . kips inside at night . he always moulting !!! he drops hair all year round , hairs about inch and half long . he should be bald !! his coat is fine otherwise. hes exercised everyday , bathed once a week , brushed , fed on eukanuba, gets raw bones , chicken necks , pigs ears etc . any ideas what i can do stop the amount he drops or is that just how it goes ??? by the way i dont wanna get into the raw v processed arguement !!!! cheers .

ive got two gills age approx 17 wks . i cant seem to get a collar on them cos ther heads seem as slim as their necks!! when i got one on it just wriggled out of it . have they got much more growing to do ?? i'm thinking of putting the locator onto a harness if i can find one . would that work ??? cheers

hopefully i'll be feeding rabbit when they're a bit bigger !!!!! but i'm gonna phase out the chicks and give em raw chicken carcasses and necks plus other bits . you reckon thats a good way to go ???

the kits are 9 wks old . i'm only been giving chicks as thats what the guy was giving them . i'm giving other meat every other day

got a couple of kits last week . the guy i got them off said to give them 3 dead day old chicks each a day. one morning , two later . is this enough ?? they always go mental when i put it in the cage. as i'm a novice i'm not sure if this is normal or are they starving ??? cheers

got myself a couple of young females this week . alls going well up to now . even the russell has been fine with them . . ive put some pipes in the bottom for them to run through but anything else i could put in to keep them entertained . ?? cheers

right i'm thinking of a getting my first ferret so would it matter what sex of ferret for a beginner ?whats the pros and cons of either ?? whats the most messing when they come into season ?? cheers .

i've a 18 mth jack russell . any tips on introducing the dog to ferrets?? is is too late ? i'm thinking of keep him on lead in the garden and let the ferret on floor and give them both a chance to suss each other ??? and see how it goes . any sugggestions ?? cheers

so what do the boys in oz using ferrets do in summer ???? how do the ferrets cope ?? or is it case of bringing them inside with the aircon ??
