hiya, agree with last comments... leave retrieving for a while.. had a cocker the same some years ago.. best advice i got was stop doing retrieves for at least a month, nothing at all..then come back to it.. worked a treat... cockers can get bored very quickly... good luck.. regards.. simon..

hiya, i have a couple of sprockers, half springer, half cocker. great working dogs if you get from working lines.. they have the enthusiasm of springers with a little of the steadiness of cocker.. a bit more size than a working cocker that hit cover hard and work very well for me... regards.. simon...
