Was out hunting last week with mates and dogs marked bury so slipped ferret in hole, after a while the ferret appeared with bushy tale and scent gland was smelling, ferret was not pleased when picked up. Inspected ferret and found bite marks on the back end injuries have worsened now a hole has appeared where the ferret has been biting wound, have been bathing in salt water but does not seem to be get any better. Has anyone any ideas of what could have bitten the ferret and what i can do to heal ferret if anything ?????????????
