    I couldn't believe my eyes when I logged on yesterday What's going on? I thought this was a hunting site!!! In my opinion (which usually counts for nothing) the moderators have got a lot of work to do. I point blank refuse to get drawn into a debate about politics or religion or whatever my views Anyway we should keep this site for hunting

    Thanks Richie had a look at that very interesting just hope my FEO gets his finger out and I get my cert soon!!! Still waiting for it but shouldn't be long now The scope on the one i mentioned is AGS SWAT 3-12x44 Mill Dot had a look and they're around £180 new and a SAK mod £30 so maybe a bit rich for the rifle at my gun dealer. I'm thinking if I can get it for £325 that will be ok, it is in as new condition and looks great not a mark on it. As it's my first rifle i would like to go down the dealer road but all of your help is helping me greatly in making a decision and I apprciate it

    I am in the same boat as you bud, I have had a drive round some farms today in my loal area and have managed to secure 750 acres on three farms . I went with some permission letters already printed and all they had to do was fill in their name etc and sign it. I found that farmers are busy and don't want bothered but persitence pays off. Try phoning round a few out of the yellow pages or do as I did and just drive up to them. Make sure you tell them you will respect their land and that you will always check with them before you go to shoot, I told all of them I would prep the bunnies for th

    Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has any rifle recomendations in .22lr for rabbit mainly. I'm new to hunting and am just feeling my way around to get some opinions. My local gun dealer has got a CZ 452 Silouette with an AGS scope (not sure which one) and a sound moderator (again not sure what make) for £400 second hand. Is this a decent price? I suppose that would be difficult to answer unless you knew what scope and mod but any views would be greatly appreciated Cheers Bry

    Hi folks I'm new to hunting but can't do fishing any more due to wrist problems and am taking up hunting instead. I'm in the process of applying for FAC and have managed to secure 400 acres of land to shoot on two farms. So hi to all and I will be picking your brains from time to time for advice and look forward to hopefully gain some experience from the "wise" folk on here.
