  1. Thanks very much folks for your great input Agreed to get a high seat. FEO still being very picky!! But sure can deal with him after reading your great posts!! Good point about meat damage Sam !!Thanks. Anyone know when shooting Muntjac with a shot gun and AAA shot became illegal? Thanks folks
  2. Have been using .22 and 243 for fox and muntjac on a private estate, 14 acres, where I keep some primitive sheep - small, horned and agile. Renewing FAC, open cert., which now includes 22-250 which I purchased. No longer use 243. Have been shooting on this estate for over 12 years. There are long 10 foot high earth banks along part of perimeter, steep slopes in wooded area and on field where my sheep graze. Fields and woods on 2 sides. All in a all good place to get some very safe shots. Had problems with foxes taking lambs last 2 years and muntjac multiply by the dozen and enjoy
  3. Hi, have 6 young Kune kune pigs, fantastic little things, tasty too! Good pics, look more Kune kune than O.S and B. They will eat loads of grass, make good mowers, spuds, carrots, apples and barley straw. Put barley straw down for bedding and to eat. Meat darkish and very tasty, bacon from them good as are sausages done as wild boar. If you are slaughtering them yourself go for a shot gun or rifle through the eye to get to brain for a clean kill, skull thick esp in boars! Good luck with them
