I am 31 years old and live in Sheffield. I am a qualified fly fishing coach (level 1) and I am currently in the process of completing my level 2 licensed fly fishing coach qualification.

I was brought up in the Peak District and have always been involved in fishing and shooting. The reason I shoot is to kill animals to eat. I believe that there is a natural, abundant larder of wild food in this country and whether it be plants, mushrooms or animals I enjoy eating it.

I do not believe in taking the life of any animal without good reason and I am involved in conservation activities as well as teaching young people and children about the countryside.

I strongly believe that the countryside should be managed by the people who live and work in it and I am a member of BASC.
