    Just thought i would post to say the pups arrived last night/ thins morning. 6 male 3 Female. 1 femaled died so down to 2. I would like to thank skycat for all the help and advice.

    Hello every one i think my bitch is in labour she hasnt been able to settle for more than 15 mins. She keeps nursing her teats ( she only startede this in the last hour) is that normal?

    Hi there i have a quick question right here goes i have read that a first cross saluki grey WONT have featherd ears / tails? Is this correct?     Thank you skycat I cant thank you and neil enough for the advice. I will phone the vet and inform them also my friend the farmer wife along the road she was a vet nurse so if need be i will phone her. I didnt want to ask her all the question as you can imagine they are rushed off their feet with the lambing. She will be indoors in my back pantry I have picked up a whelping box today for her Also have suspended a heat lamp above for when needed. (i have this from rearing my chicks) Thank god i had two as i have just had chick hatched tonight too. I will try and get the book you mention in

    She could drop the pups a couple of days either side of her due date, have plenty of newspapers available as they are easy to red up. You'll know when their on there way as she will become really restless not sittin at peace, burling round and round ripping up newspaper trying to make a nest for the pups, also she might be of her food and she may empty her bowels before the big event. When the first one is here there may be about 20 mins apart for the next, sometimes quicker and sometimes up to an hour , any longer may be cause for concern and if in doubt phone the vet for advice.     Hello there I was wanting any tips on a bitch thats in pup just so i can be perpared. She is due in around 2 weeks time. This is the first time i have ever had a bitch have pups so please any advice would be welcome.. thanks

    He has been wormed. He lives in the house AS I SAID BEFORE HE WAS ONLY IN THERE TEMP BUT OBVIOUSLY U DIDNT READ THAT BIT! as for the carpet u ass hole i am in the middle of decorating!     They usually start laying mid april And stop mid may but it will depend on where you are and the climate. If you keep taking their eggs away then you should get more eggs out them that way if you puting them in the incy
