Help please or its the loony bin for me.
  5. This is a pretty common problem with rifles, centrefires in particular as a lot of the Moderators tend to be quite fat. As already suggested this is probably reflected light from a mod or perhaps the barrel. Lots of possible solutions, angle the lamp up a bit, use a dimmer switch, try a filter on the lamp, sling the lamp under the barrel, or to the side (but this can cause distance problems), cover the scope/barrel with non reflective material, black insulating tape over the bottom of the light lens, flip up scope cover UP on objectice lens, etc etc, some or all of the above will "prob

    RATS

Hi everyone, brand new member with a rat problem.I live in the sticks and back on to farmland and seem to be being invaded by rats, there is signs of them everywhere, runs, droppings they have even chewed through and dug under the wooden fences either side of me.I think i have tracked em down to my neighbors rockery and they seem to be using my garden as a through road to my other neighbors guineapig and rabbit hutches.I havent seen any as yet and i understand they mainly come out at night,i have a HW77 MK1 with a Deerfield 4x12x50 and would like to know what i could add to this to make it a useab
