    The recent vote NO campaign was organised jointly by BASC Northern Ireland and Countryside Alliance Ireland (CAI).     Over 2,500 people have now voted no, and the web poll stands at 78% against the Marine Bill. The yes votes are still coming in but the no votes are keeping pace. At 10am tommorow BASC Northern Ireland and Countryside Alliance Ireland will be in Stormont giving evidence to the NI Environment Committee about the Marine Bill. The results of the web poll at 10am will be referred to as part of our evidence in recommending that certain clauses need to be dropped or reworded. Thanks to everyone on the forum that has voted so far and especially to those that passed the message on to others.

    The No vote is up from 700 votes on Saturday night to over 1,200 and counting today. the yes votes cant keep pace. We are recouping the lost ground and the No vote now stands at 76%. Thanks for voting and do spread the word amongst your shooting and fishing friends. It would be particularly useful to post on fishing forums of all types that you are members of.     Please show solidarity for country sports and join over 700 shooters and anglers to vote NO in a web poll against proposals to give protectionists the power to ban shooting and angling in every estuary, river and lake in Northern Ireland.
