  1. I did have a mate..Just parted with it after fitting a tuning kit made from phosphor bronze that I had made. It had a nasty habit of creeping up just over the top of the limit, I was always sh*tting myself as one day it was 11.5 and the next it was 12.3 I then tried a FX Cyclone and it was a pain to me as it was over the top as well and the valve on them is in the air tank and adjusting it was tedious. After I got it down to 11.4 it decided to leak overnight so I got sick of playing about with it and went for a brand new HW100KT... After all I was shooting rabbits with the rimmy at approx
  2. Hi Steve, After removing the stock, remove the air cylinder and mark the alignment of the barrel in the breech with a bit of adhesive tape, remove the angled grub screw and draw out the barrel. Clean away any oil and make sure the barrel, breech and grub screw clean and dry, insert the barrel into the breech at the correct alignment and tighten up the grub screw without excessive force. If you think the barrel may have twisted round from its original position; check the serial number stamp, it’s usually on the same side as the breech serial number and square to the horizontal plane. Easy task
  3. You might be right mate and you have a very valid point. I have been through all this for many a year with the rimfire moderators. They all said the next silencer was better than the other and like you I had my opinion and sort of stuck by it and personally I always did well at what I did ( rabbit control using the .22 CZ452 ) and never fell into the trap of "the more you spend the better it is". I am now making the move after years of using a rimfire to begin with a sub 12ft/lb .177 and I believe I will be able to do the job just as good, Well that's my objective so once I get going I sh

  5. Best of luck mate. I just think its a shame, as I love the 100 now I have had all the mods done that I feel I need. They are the dogs bo**ocks in the PCP world. Thanks mate.
  6. LOL mate.. Thanks for the reply Darryl has just been on the phone mate and explained about the additional grub screw ( PS: I can fit one of these myself no problem ) Now it has been explained to me it is easier then easy...LOL I will tell you one thing for sure though, I like to bet if I dealt with any other company for gun parts I would of never got this level of customer care. I will always use A&M from now on mate .....you can't go wrong with them. Steve
  7. I will be honest mate I have not tried it at distance only at close range through a chrono ( In Daryl's house ) and at that time the Twink MKII sounded better to me. I will post again once this snow goes and I can get out in the fields. Thanks mate Steve No worries Steve, I'm sure its a good bit of kit. If I wasn't selling my HW100KT I'd be tempted by the A&M cylinder Hey mate don't sell it man..they are worth keeping and you know it. The A & M Cylinder is spot on mate... Blew it up to 200 last night let it lie till just before about 24 hours and it has not drop

  9. Well tonight after removing and refitting my silencer I noticed that the barrel itself turned slightly. I have read that there is a small locking grub screw that holds the barrel in place that can be found by removing the stock and cylinder to gain access to it. ( I have not looked yet but I know I will find it ) My questions are..... ( 1 ) .. Is there a correct position the barrel must be in before the grub screw is tightened ? If so please explain the position ( 2 ) .. Also I have read this is not an uncommon problem in the HW100's so do you put a bit thread lock on the grub screw t
  10. I just thought I would take both silencer's apart today and compare the internals. The two Silencers are Twink MKII made by A & M Custom Gunsmith and the Weihrauch hw 100 silencer. The Twink is shorter but slightly heavier on my old kitchen scales that might not be too accurate the Weihrauch hw 100 silencer is 4 oz (113.398 grams) where the Twink MKII is 6.5 oz (184.272 grams) The Twink has a thicker diameter body but feels nice and robust on the rifle and well balanced. The internal components ! Yes the Weihrauch silencers work well but they have not exactly pushed the boat out with
  11. It has a setting for night mode in the menu but unless the area is well illuminated with a lamp it lacks quality. I have yet to find a camera that has a out of the box night mode, I use pro broadcast quality cameras for some of my DVDs and even they require a light on the target area. I find most cameras struggle with focus issues on a night time when lamping etc: I have just bought a new HD model and I still have the same issues.... There is designated cameras for night time shooting but they are really expensive and then again they lack for daytime video shooting. I hope this helps Tha
  12. Hello..... I made a call to Adi and Mandy at "A & M Custom Gunsmiths" the other day explaining what I wanted in regards to a cylinder for my HW100KT and even though the standard moderator as good could it be improved by replacing it with a after market modification. By the way I need to say this in all honesty Adi and Mandy at A & M Custom Gunsmiths was great people and Adi took more than enough time to discuss matters with me in depth and gave his honest opinion which made sense. Adi never tried at any point to sell me anything, in-fact when he heard my local accent he told me to
  13. NOW SOLD SORRY ITS GONE Thanks Steve Edited as its is not for sale anymore
  14. Just a quick update !.. I picked my 9L carbon bottle back up today from Cormeton Dive Support Unit 12 Delaval Trading Estate Double Row, Seaton Delaval Tyne & Wear NE25 0QT TEL: 0191 237 0790 These bottles are only good for a 15 year period. I put the bottle in for test and they charged me £24 all in "filled" witha cert and all bottle stickers. Filled and settled then filled again so it is at max pressure and you get a full 300 bar. And a refill is £3 This bottle comes to the end in 2015 but I still think it was worth testing for £24 as I only give £20 for it with the gau
  15. I would like a cylinder for the HW100 KT shown in the picture. Something not too close to A & M prices max £100 , otherwise I may as well but one direct from them which I will if no one has one for sale kind of quick. I can collect within 20 miles of Newcastle Tyne and wear or seller is welcome to meet me half way. I need to buy face to face so no damage will occur in postal service. Not to say I want a mint one please. Thanks Steve
  16. Yea thats fine mate. I have all the gauges and fittings so I can control it. Thanks
  17. Your miles away from me mate ! I am in Tyne and Wear...Newcastle
  18. They are Ok but as long as you do not try and overtighten the front sling / bipod mount as they reckon it makes the mag cycle like a piece of turd. The rear one will go no where...it is long enough to be continued... But once it is in thats it. ( I was more scared of that one ) as I seen some right states that people have had done after having the rear stock drilled. I am pleased but ........I know I cant....BUT I think the front one that replaces the stock bolt should be about 2-3 threads longer ( I would like to dip it in locktight "threadlock" ) but I cant as it is a stock bolt now. It
  19. These are six goose decoys.Used but in good condition. They are printed in lightweight plastic / vinyl Quite robust and very easy to set up and take down. Please see pictures below as to how they are assembled and see the whole 6 together flat packed. You can remove the staple from the side of the head part ( see photos below ) and get them to go totally flat. Although they are light to post these I would have to roll them or fold them and to be honest I do not want to mis-shape them by doing that. I have used these by themselves without any other decoys ( Only these 6 ) and managed to g
  20. I have been waiting a couple of days for these sling mounts to arrive from an ebay seller. Here is the listing where I got them from he has 100% feedback The ones I got are where you replace the front stock bolt with a Bipod / Sling mount and the rear stud that is basically a large self tapper that needs a pilot hole drilled in the rear of the stock to be able to screw it in with no damage. AT LAST I have my rifle strap fitted ! The rear stud I measured the centre where I was fitting it and began with a piece of tape "in case i slipped with the drill" Put a small 1.5 mm pilot hole in and
