Thanks Guys, mine took just over 12 hours to charge. What a great lamp, glad I got it.

It's an actual gun. Only comes as a carbine, a shrouded silenced barrel, 10 shot. I've added the s510 silencer to make it even quieter. The cocking is a side lever which is very smooth and very quiet. It's a lovely gun, a pleasure to shoot and very accurate. I paid £559 for the beech version and £47 for the silencer. the hw100 is still number 1 for me at the minute, havent held a s510 yet might change my mind when i do but it doubt it because its so much like the s410 stockwise its exactly the same in it? It is similar looking stockwise, but the rest(shrouded barrel, co

Hi guys, I have the above lamp with the 12 volt 7 amp battery, how long does it take to fully charge froma run down state? The reason I am asking is that in the instructions it say plug the battery into charger, the green light on it should start to dim and eventually go out when battery is fully charged but its now been 12 hours and shows no sign of the green light dimming, any help would be appreciative...thanks ps......I have got the charger set to 12 volt by the way and the charger has an output of 500 ma

I think it is just as quiet, the silencer on my gun is the one aa one for the 510, it is about 47 quid

My 510 being a carbine only does about 60 shots, I need to get a 3 ltr 300 bar bottle for it as I needed a sleep after I used the pump lol. At the moment Im only doing target as Im trying to get used to the hawke 6.5 20 50 night eye scope and its got a mil dot reticle which Im finding tough to use so thinking of getting the sr version which has a airgun friendly reticle, I love my mates super 10 but it cost a bit more and dont think I could get used to the bottle on it because you have to dry fire it to get it loose(what gun dealer told my mate, he unscrewed it while air in it and it needed £

I agree, they are all good guns, all deadly accurate and they all look good too.

Sold my s410 and got an s510 which is an excellent gun, my mates got a super 10 that is also an excellent gun.

Thanks....even more confused now lol Steve

It's not quite that simple if you want to be accurate, you will need to know the weight of the pellet, it's ballistic coefficient, the exact power it develops, height of scope above barrel, etc...... ...talk to Deben.... http://www.deben.com/index.php they will give you all the info you want on the scope!!! However...a bit of trial and error on a range often works wonders!!!! Thanks for reply, I will just have to get out in the garden and put targets up from 20 to 60 metres and try to figure it out. I suppose if I then alter scope mag it will all need doing again lol. Th

I may just sell my scope and get one that is easier to understand lol

One other thing, I hav been told I can use the mil dot for range as well, how do I do that?, been told I need to know what the true magnification is to find that out lol, now even more confused lol Steve

Hi everyone, I got the above named scope, it was second hand so no manual and I have it fitted to my aa s510 carbine using air arms .177 diablo 4 52 pellets, Its a mill dot reticle. I have no manual and cannot get hold of one and cant find any info on what magnification to what the true mil dot is. I prefer to shoot at 10x over ranges from 20 to 60 yards but what I want to know is this, can anyone tell me what the distance to each dot represents? I have it zeroed in at 40 yards and am finding thigs difficult working out shooting over or under the zero line, can anyone help. Ste

I just found with my 410 that sometimes the bolt was dificult to get all th way back so moved it forward and back and so double loaded it. Because Im not getting that difficulty with the 510 it is probable why I have not double loaded it.
-
With my 410 I used to double load it a lot lol, mainly as I found the bolt (even though greased) was a bit fidly so you sometimes forgot there was a pellet already loaded because I was concentrating on the bolt. Now as far as the 510 is concerned you can actually double load it but I have never done that after firing 1500 pellets, this is down to the perfectly smooth action of the cocking lever which is an absolute joy to use, I liked my 410 but this gun is in my opinion awsome.
-
After playing with it for a few days now I really love it, it feels and looks solid, more so than my 410, need to go hunting with it now and see how it performs.
-
I loved my 410 but the only thing I found that the bolt was sometimes a pain to pull back even after it was greased and as a result sometimes double loaded, the 510 lever is slick and easy to use and even though in theory you can double load I find I dont as the action is so smooth, its very easy to rapid fire with the gun while on aim, also the 510 is a few inches longer with the silencer on it than my silenced 410 classic.
-
Thanks, just got to find somewhere now to get some bunnies lol
-
Its a lovely gun, very quiet and I love the side lever, only bought it yesterday and I love it, never been hunting so its just a question of finding someone in Dorset to let me loose on their land lol. Im getting good groups at 40 yards, about 60 good shots per fill and a complete joy.
