    Joe 1888.....Scotland had a referendum for independence and the MAJORITY of Scotland voted to remain united with the rest of Britain,why they are even considering giving the poisonous sturgeon a 2nd referendum is beyond me, the vote should stand end of.

    Then there was the vote given to the WHOLE of the UK (Scotland England Ireland Wales) to stay in the European union or not, the MAJORITY of the country (Britain..Scotland inclusive) voted to leave, this was nothing to do with Scotland on it's own as I think some of you yes voters get very confused with!! This was a vote for the WHOLE of Britain together.

    I am Scottish born and bred, and patriotic towards my country, I am also a NO voter to the break up of our nation, why would I want to see the ruination of my birth country when they go to the EU with their begging bowl and run by eurocrats who have no interest in the history or heritage of my country, do the yes voters not see what is happening in Europe? Do you yes voters think Scotland could be strong enough financially or industrial enough to stand alone while adhering to European rule?? We all have a choice to vote whichever way we see fit, IF a 2nd referendum should happen I will be voting NO again, I won't be voting on historical deeds from 700yrs ago, I will be voting on the needs of the future of my grandchildren and the country as a whole as we need to stick together. History should be taught but left in the past as it won't change, the future is more important today as it can change.

    If you read this link the gorilla was smashing the child off a wall and throwing him around, the keeper even said the child was in danger of his life, they show a bit of a video of it touching a child's hand and everyone gets a fairy story that it was protecting him, did no one see it dragging him off by the leg? Obviously they didn't show the video where it was being aggressive to the baby as that's when they had to shoot it, whether you think the parents were to blame or not....The zoo should have 100% secure enclosures to stop this happening.

    Apparently the gorilla wasn't going to harm the boy.., it just dragged him around like a rag doll for 10 minutes to 'protect him from the screaming crowd'? FFS.., more bullets please???

    I'm 100% of the same opinion as you pesky, I'm shocked by the lack of compassion for the poor wee baby getting thrown around by a 400lb gorilla, I hope the wee soul is ok and makes a full recovery after his terrible terrifying ordeal, sad tragic event that could have been avoided if the zoo had proper enclosures!!!

    never ceases to amaze me that the mothers don't seem to notice their children being abused/tortured in such extreme ways by these their scummy boyfriends/husbands/whatever, ..... the mother should be jailed also, no matter how scared a normal loving mother would NEVER allow ANYONE to harm her children, poor wee souls :censored:

    What kind of mother would allow this situation and even the smallest risk to her children? They need to take these children out of this hell hole away from their vile creature of a mother and the danger of the predator pedophile, a home is meant to make a child feel safe, what chance do some children have in this sick society nowadays? Disgusting, you would think other family members would be up in arms over these children ?

    I'm absolutely disgusted at the fighting in George square Glasgow yesterday, the whole of Scotland were given a choice and the choice was made, no one is any less a scot for voting no and no one is more patriotic for voting yes. We all had a vote and used it as we seen fit whether we used our hearts or heads.

    I would like to say to all those shouting brawling and fighting in Glasgow.....where are all these voices of protest when poppies are being burned on our streets, there as a remembrance of our soldiers of the past who fought side by side Scotland England Ireland and wales?? where are all these voices of protest when a soldier is beheaded in broad daylight on our streets for defending OUR country??

    Open your eyes Scotland. YOU allowed a foreign flag which being supported by terrorists to fly loud and proud in YOUR Glasgow!!!!!

    So....... To make it clear as a lot of you still relate to 700yr old history, would oor William Wallace have allowed all these shenanigans????? You can all fight and argue like dafties and look ridiculous or you can all get on with it and take more notice of what is happening around you as a lot of you seem to MISS the "small" issues that are ruining the country!!
