    We are in the lee of a half decent hill here, when I went out at dusk last night, the sky looked clear and my hopes were high (esp. as I'd spotted a couple of bunnies further down a field we overlook). I managed to get half way down the field before the heavens opened. Grrrrrr! Soaked again. Some proper waterproofs are next on the shopping list.

    I'm also interested in this. Not fussed about the size as long as it is light (did just say that?) and can be accommodated on the rifle (Umarex 850) as I can't be bothered with cables to belt packs etc. I understand about advertising specific wares and all, but I just want to know what works. I have some pennies, but want to keep it realistic. I'm also curious about the how to, too. Quick flick at low beam (max 70 yards) to clock the eyes, move in, quick low beam to spot, then dazzle the varmint and POP! Easy the type, harder in practice.

    Can anyone tell me when it will stop raining? It's August! I went out at dusk last night, spotted two tail dis-appearing round hedges, then I get soaked. Baa humbug!

    Hi all! I managed to wangle an Umarex 850 Air Magnum as part of a redundancy agreement (which I'm loving by the way (with the exception of the price of CO2 bottles)!!!)! We've moved home from Sutton in London to just north of Cardiff, I need a new job, so does the wife, the kids are loving the 'wilderness' (even if the 3 year old is in hospital tonight to see if her bashed hip is serious or just painful). I haven't fired anything since I had to carry a GPMG around unknown hillsides of a weekend, so long ago that I've forgotten my pet dinosaur's name. Real name is Alan (McSparki
