  1. I have just got my sako back after having it drilled out properly. Now it fires anything without any problem. I think they must have used an old drill bit or whatever they use when they made this lot of quads.
  2. I paid 525 for mine but then there was the moderator, scopes etc.
  3. I think it must be the wax, because as soon as I clean it, it's fine. One time an unfired round was left in and there was no way the extractor could remove it. It was really tight. I had to use my knife to get it out. I'll try different ammo and see how it goes!
  4. That's great, thanks for the advice. I'd hoped it was a wearing in problem and the Winchester does seem quite waxy. I'm really pleased with how accurate it is though! Thanks again.
  5. Hi there everyone! Does anyone have experience of their Sako Quad not ejecting the fired round? I'm using Winchesters at present. After cleaning the barrel it works again, but surely it shouldn't be doing this? Does anyone have advice on the type of ammunition to use or if I should have the barrel checked/altered? Thanks!
  6. Hi there, this is my first post on the site. I was wondering if anyone has experience of the Sako Quad .22lr jamming after firing a few rounds. I'm using Winchester subsonics. Once cleaned it ejects normally. Does anyone have any advice on the best type of ammunition or if I should have the barrel altered? Any advice would be much appreciated!
