  12. Been out this morning for an hour with a ferret in the pocket and a couple of nets for some sport for the dog Didn't bother netting any up 1st bolter. Got up and the dog gave a good chase, Over the fields turned back into the woods and back into the set Then she knocked one up out of cover, Again a good run around the woods and made its escape 2nd bolter. Got up good course round the woods, Caught and retrieved 3rd bolter, Another good course, Caught, Ready to retrieve until 4 Rhodesian Ridgebacks bounded up to her and one of them bit her on her back , Obviously she let go of the rabbit

  18. My bitch will do both, Lamping at night she will come back with either a rabbit to hand or if she's not caught anything comes back pretty much when I turn the lamp off or if she knows she's lost it, Daytime she will hunt up and has a great nose on fur and feather, She'll enter cover with no hesitation. Just yesterday she knocked a hare out of thick brambles in a wood and gave it a good run over the fields but luckily she didn't catch it because that would be illegal and with people walking on footpaths that wouldn't have been good! She's brilliant around the ferrets and will mark up I'm no
