    DON'T use pigeon for pup's retrieve they have loose feathers that stick to the dogs mouth .

    Give the retrieving a rest for a while and start again just with dummies that are not to heavy.

    also put some scent on the dummy you can buy rabbit p**s on line or even just spit on it make it a bit interesting for the pup.

    mind you only my take on thing I'AM NOT A DOG TRAINER.

    wish I had work for  one and justify getting one they look great .

    A fella picks up with a couple on a shoot I beat on smashing little workers 

    I don't have ferrets now but what else do folk use this breed for.

    If England becomes  a war torn  and even a hell hole. I hope I would have the balls to stay and try to save my country and my family not jump ship and leave my home and family behind .I,AM sorry pesky but that excuse is wearing thin with me .

    WHY has this women who has a platform on the M.S.M. and in government not been campaigning for the victims of grooming gangs. No mention of curfew for men of this colour or religion.   Could be these victims are not women just children.

  20. Road kill

    Traveling around my area of the north east and the Scottish borders I've noticed that pheasant road kills are way down on other years .could it be that fewer birds are being released. 

    Or have keepers found away to teach road sense 

    Or even managed to talk the buggers out of commiting harry carry.

    Just a thought.

    I have been up to ours today as i do every Sunday just having a look around to see what needs doing before the birds come. We where walking down the side of a small spinney when out popped Charlie at the end. I will need to go back this week to see if i can sort that out.

    Up at 5am sort me and the dogs out  drive an hour and a half to the shoot check all pens change elect fence battery and test wires. Pick up dead birds( mostly killed by our friendly resident hooky beaks) and dump them in a stink pit ( to temped Charlie to visit) . top up feeders with  pellets transfer water from well to  storage tank and then to drinkers. Repair a few holes in the netting .sort out the quad as it packed in while taken repaired hoppers back to one of the drives .

    Something to eat then crop protection time with the 410 on woodies and jackdaws. Had to check  one of the duck ponds up on the moor so hunted the young dog up to the pond good news flushed a few rabbits  a hare and two packs of grouse bad news pond was dry.

    Back home for 7.30.pm

    70 celebs of colour demand the gov set up a enquiry and report the finding to the public on why more people of colour are loosing the fight against the lurgy than white people are.

    I signed a petition along with 12300 thousand others for the report into grooming gangs to be made available to the public  but havn't seen much in the M.S.M. about this issue.

    I am sure the gov has stated a few time in the past that they are monitoring the ongoing situation  of the deaths in the BEM population during this pandemic and yet these 70 good folk  have to jump on a bandwagon to point out how they are badly done to by this Gov.
