Well I ordered this King Ratcatcher in June and due to shipping from the states it took some time to arrive in the UK. As some of you know about me I never keep a gun standard I always add extras to make a gun more useable. The rifle came with the 4x32 scope which is adequate for the purpose of zeroing at 25 yards, I've fitted a carbon fibre Logun silencer @ £25 a gun lamp from dealextreme @ $18.42= £9 (which is so powerful it can melt electrical tape) and a Dragon claw bipod from J S Ramsbottoms @ £18.95, I've also fitted a brass trigger shoe for extra comfort. I get 30-40 full powered shots from a 12g capsule and as for noise "well what noise LOL!!" the Weirauch silencer is the dogs nuts!! I stood 10 yards away from someone else shooting it and could not hear a thing except the THWACK of what it hit and a menacing hiss as the pellet travelled through the air

I chronographed my Sheridan .20cal CO2 pistol and at peak power of the 12g capsule it hit 6ft/lb and shot consistently at 5.4ft/lb. Accuracy is second to none and it's a very capable hunter to dispatch quarry humanely. Single shot is not a big problem for me although me and a friend with a workshop are thinking of designing a magazine to fit on it, thus being able to just pull the pin back and feed the pellet just like any high spec PCP rifle......

All I can say is you was a lucky man it could have been a lot worse. I hope that younger shooters realise that street trainers are just that FOR THE STREET! As the man say's good army boots saved his calf not to mention they support the ankles and make uneven ground more sure footed. This thread should serve as a warning to all those guilty of wearing trainers in the field... -

In my opinion I think the camo look is the best out of the two. Does the camo job look tidy up close as I was thinking of doing it to my King ratcatcher when it arrives?

The model is a Sheridan EB 20 (.20cal) which are not made anymore but you can still buy the EB17 (.177cal) & EB22 (.22cal). As for all the custom parts they came from here>> http://www.sdcustomdesign.com/parts.htm#benjamin

Well I've been baiting them with the corpses and had the results too, now setting up a camera sound like a really good idea just to check out their behaviour patterns. Thanks for the tip mate In the mean time it's just a waiting game until the reappear as I've wiped them all out for the time being. If I have seen any they've stayed the F**K away from here because they are not stupid I hope they have short memories because me and my Sheridan will be waiting
