  1. I've had a bitch from Stan and she didn't want to know ? Just stood and barked ? I anit knocking them cos all are different but I entered mine properly and didn't want to know.

I`ve seen both Stan and Sally work and Stan is one of the best lurchers i`ve ever had the pleasure of seeing work along with his litter brother Billy, i`ve seen him hit foxes that hard he killed them on impact on numerous occasions

got brother to stan he does exactly the same got a stan sally pup an thats a barker at the moment lol sally not the best brood in my opinion an the bitch is out of my dog so im entitled to say that thanks atb old timer

has there been many from this breeding thats turned out to be a barker?

how was the billy litter produced anyone with info on the dogs pm me thanks

  2. Thought i would share a couple of pics of 2 of the best dogs i had pleasure of owning and working hard "H" and "Max" both good enough at there job to stay at my kennels , and sorely missed

pied dog looks well, whats its breeding?

  3. I see a couple lads are saying the Tumbler line is just a load of rubbish an that the breed is dead.

I would like to ask you lads whats your opinions on the minshaw strain... Because in my eyes it seems like very

    similar circumstances... Cheers..

you wanting a reaction shanded lol

No. me? Never!!!.. When I read birds reply it was interesting an made alot of sense he basically says when your keepin a line you after inject some new blood from time to time which basically thins out the original blood in the dogs.

Now a Norfolk tumbler was or still is a strain of lurcher, an I bet the dogs that are apart of the strain all look an have similarities. Yet people on this thread have come out an had there opinions on a Norfolk tumbler, I would just like some opinions on the 21st century minshaw... Me personally just think that alot of people on this forum actually know what am gettin at but just don't get involved Incase they get the minshaw brigade on there backs.. Lol

    Cheers.. SHanded. .

    haha................

send 1 my way shanded i will give you my opinion lol

  8. Their the best thing thats happend in the lurcher world as they stop most of the idiots getting other lurcher types.

like lurchers from untried and untested dogs, with puppy peddling hancock blood in them.............. :whistling:

Yes you live and learn like that merle collie bull cross you had a few years back who did you sell that too lol.

she went to a member off here and still doing the business single handed :tongue2:

oh yeah did you manage to get ur bitch back ok?

  9. 7 months is too young for a heavily built dog like a Bull cross to jump more than 2 foot maximum. If he has stopped jumping he's probably jarred his joints, damaged tendons and is being sensible enough to realise that jumping hurts. Its not the taking off that is bad, but the landing. Don't do any jumping over 2 foot maximum until the dog is a year old: hopefully by then he will have forgotten that it hurts to land over a jump and whatever damage has been done will have repaired itself.

Young joints damage easily but also heal better than older joints. If he has damaged his tendons that could take some while to heal, and you ought to take him to a greyhound vet just in case it is serious. He might not be lame, but if he's jarred his joints (wrists, shoulders) he might just be a bit sore: some dogs don't show pain very easily and unless you're an expert you probably won't even notice if he's a bit stiff on one leg, or possibly both.

f**k sake mate no need to frighten the lad.some pups are eratic and do things well and then they lapse back to thier old ways if not constantly encouraged.i wouldnt go running to a vets just yet mate, catcher gave u a good bit of advice there mate.try that in the garden and stuff and im sure you will e pleasantly suprised.if not pm me and ill get u catchers adress and we will put his windows in lol

how old are you again?................WHAT A BELLEND!
