  1. Ian, thanks for the advice. Mole Trapper, while I was setting the traps in the house for the first time I took a hit to the thumb, Mrs found it very amusing. Good point a chap made on your post though MT about wearing leather gloves. Tinman
  2. Hello I have Moles in my field so I decided to order 3 Duffus traps from The Flat Pack Company. What I would like to know is when placing your Mole trap in to the Mole tunnel where do you hold the trap without the chance of getting your fingers caught if it goes off while positioning it into the tunnel? Cheers Tinman

Hey Stig/All I am a massive Shane Meadows fan Anyone got any ideas who will be playing the part of Bartley? I was very impressed by former Pro Boxer Gary Stretch (Sonny) in Dead Mans Shoes. Getting back to Kimbo Slice, rumor has it he is taking on Iron Mike Tyson. I read this today: Unbeaten Mixed Martial Arts fighter Kimbo Slice is set to become a professional Heavyweight Boxer and his first fight will be a money spinning bout held in Las Vegas against Mike Tyson. The fight is scheduled for July and venues mentioned include Cesar's Palace and the MGM Grand.
  4. Thanks for your advice Guys. Appreciated. Tinman
  5. Hello All I have a Pup that is nearly 10 weeks old and would like to know what food you could recommend for the Dog? Tinman
  6. I meant to say I called my dog Seth. My lads choice was Bingo which I quite liked. Tinman
  7. I have just got myself a new Pup, surprised how long it took to come up with a name in the end we all decided (Me, Mrs and 3 kids) to put our favorite names on a piece of paper then put them into a hat and I would pick the winning name. There was my suggestion and a half decent name from my eldest lad but there was no way I was calling my new pride and joy what the others had decided on so I rigged the voting. I shaped my piece of paper like a matchstick so I knew I could put my fingers on my choice. Tinman
  8. Yeah, Armitage is real close, I walk my terrier (and shortly my Pup) from my village to the canal (Having to go under the railway bridge) then it brings me out at the back of Armitage Shanks. Its a small world. Cheers Tinman

  10. At least your boss has a sense of humor. My old man had a Poodle when I was a kid, to say it was feisty would be an understatement. Tinman

  13. Thanks for the kind words Smashy and Raymac I am lucky enough to have an acre of land for the dogs to run in and next to that is a 9 acre field plus I built a website for the farmer at the back of me for his Carp pools which is 130 acres in all so the Pup going to have plenty of fun. What is also great for me is the Chap I bought the dog off goes hunting with his dogs 15 miles away and he said I can go with him when my Pup is old enough, which is brilliant for me as like I said I am very new to working dogs. (But willing to learn). Cheers Tinman

  17. Hello I have been an avid reader of this forum since I found it last week. I have been after a Lurcher for awhile since I moved out to a small village called Hill Ridware which is in between Rugeley and Lichfield. Yesterday I picked up my Pup from a Guy on this forum, I was really impressed with the Dogs parents and I picked the pup. He is a beauty. Looking forward to spending a lot of time on here as I have a lot to learn about working dogs. All the best Tinman
