  1. Hi, not been on here for a long time. I'm looking for a fell terrier to line my bitch with in or around the Keighley area. If you know anyone who could help info would be greatly appreciated! Cheers Charlotte
  2. I'm wanting to make my own terrier box for the car and wanted to know what dimensions anyone would recommend. New pup is fully settled now, almost 14 weeks old and game as anything. Cheers, Char
  3. I really want a good book on working terriers, in particular fell/patterdales. I just wondered if anyone could recommend one? Thanks, Char
  4. This is the life!! Well I've had Pip 5 days now and she's well and truly settled in! Incredibly well behaved for a seven week old and is picking up the concept of toilet training much faster than my lurcher did.
  5. Thanks, I'm really pleased with her. She finishes off my hunting pack, with Kes my 4 year old lurcher and two ferrets it only seemed fair to get a terrier too! My uncle has had fells for many years and always said he'd breed me one since I was a kid. Our lurcher is 4th generation from his first ever dog Merle, so we have some good hunting roots!
  6. Introducing Pip, short for Pippet (family tradition of naming after birds.) Here she is at 7 weeks old. Shes from Mark Snowdens fell terrier line, mother is Wren. Shes a game little thing, already egging our lurcher on for a game of chase. Hopefully they'll make a good team. She's currently fast asleep on my knee after a game of tug of war.
  7. I stayed at Essie Croft last summer, it was brilliant. We took our lurcher with us, we asked the owners when we booked and they had a warm dry stable prepared for when we got there. Would definately recommend staying here.
