This is a pike lure in a brown trout pattern ,carved by hand from English walnut. The lure is fitted with 3D holographic eyes ,traditional hook hangers ,long screws and eagle claw size2 treble hooks.the lure is weighted and is a slow sinking jerkbait. i didnt paint the whole body as i wanted the wonderful walnut grain to show in all its glory, the lure has received 7 coats of 'Ronseal diamond hard floor varnish' for durability. The overall length is 7inches. heres some pictures: this lure will up for sale soon on ebay. thanks for looking.
  19. mate, wander up and down the river chucking the od bit of white bread in,if they take it from the surface youll see,and if it sinks youll see when they take, this will also get them into a feeding mood and if a couple more turn up theyll be in a shark like frenzy, now fix some bread to a line and trot on in to them! ive caught more trout than i can remember like this and near all of them over 2lb many over 4lb from crystal clear chalk streams. heres a couple my 5yo nipper and i had last summer: good luck!
