I’ve tried a few different supplements for my birds during the moult and found mixed results. I had a similar issue with calcium making beaks grow too quickly, which wasn’t ideal. Recently, I tried a supplement from goliathsteroids.com, which has been pretty good so far. They seemed to have a balanced approach that didn’t overload on any one nutrient.
For the best results, I’d recommend starting with a basic, well-rounded bird supplement and seeing how it goes. Every bird is different, so you might need to experiment a bit to find what works best for yours.
