Is there any place you can hunt without permission for things like grey squirrel/rats and such pests?

Managed to get on a nice piece of land pretty open though, with a good tree line for cover, flat too so ideal for sighting in the air rifle. About half an hour's drive from the house so not to far to go.

Looking for new permission in the Glasgow east and Lanarkshire area of Scotland. Been hunting land near me with permission for around 7 years now but the farmer is selling up and turns out it's a housing estate getting built there now. Anyone know of someone or already own land where permission can be granted. Mostly hunt with a slingshot currently the scout X but also looking to get permission for my .177 air rifle. Only looking to hunt rabbit and pigeon for myself but if needed I will shoot whatever other pests that need eradicated for the land owner.
