  1. First kill for the walther reign m2. Had it a month or so been to the range a few times its taken some getting used to! . Decent little rifle tho, apart from the triggers pretty crap on mine. Really accurate when you get it right

    It's gone back.

When I got it on the range for an extended period over the Chrono, it was NOT consistent after all. I did manage a 1p sized group but it was 9.8 to 11. 5... Really bad. It would make single hole groups and then hit much higher or lower power than the 10.4 Ave and ruin the group. Really disappointed, but the warranty will take care of it.

My s510 ultimate sporter, regulated.. .22 .. had to go back to air arms after a few weeks of having it from brand new. The power if i remember was fine at around 11.3 ftlb.. but it was the accuracy for me. Allover the shop.. me and a freind thought it was an issue with the Reg but after it came back from air arms they had put a new barrel on it! It shoots pretty bang on now tho so all good.

On a side note, my mate got a brand new s510 other week, black soft touch one in.177 not the regulated one... when you pulled the sidelever out to cock the rifle it was really loose and flailing around allover the place.. local gunshop said they had had a few like that sent back so maybe a dodgy batch?

  3. Mines always been awesome no power issues. I have the full length laminate in .177 cal. Had it just over a year. As for the sling, you can get a plate that screws on between the stock and buttpad that has a sling stud fitted. I didnt want to drill my nice laminate stock either. Easy to fit and solid as a rock. Look on ebay i think thats where i got mine.

Do you film your shots sam ? I now have a pard 008lrf on my hw110t its quite a good combo isnt it !!! ?

  7. Just got my pard 008lrf, late to the party i know but whatever. Took it to range tonight an got it zeroed at 35 yards with the jsb exacts 8.44 and the hw110t. Cant be bothered shimming it so spent another load of brass on the eagle vision mount for it ? should be better when that comes.

My reticle is really low down on my screen so need to sort it i think.

Got a couple of spare batteries and a USB charger so im pretty much good to go.

Could do with an exterior IR torch that i could mount to the other side of the pard on the piccatinny rail if anyone wants to reccomend me one. Try save some battery life rather than uSing the built in IR. Proper nightvision VIRGIN at min but everyone starts somewhere eh..

Chucking it down and windy but might have a stumble round the farm later and see what i can see after my tea.

I have nothing to compare it to except my boys gamo junior so it does kick compared to that, I’m happy with it out the box but if a little polish ect can make it last longer and perform better then why not I geuss

I got a pro sport new a couple months back, 725 quid... and its 'twangy' straight out of the box. Dont get me wrong, its really consistent and very accurate straight out of the box... but i think a tuning kit could improve it. A tighter fitting spring guide and maybe a piston sleeve or a top hat could probably eliminate the rattling twangy noises. And maybe dampen the recoil a bit. Its not exactly kicking like a donkey but i think it could be lightened a bit.

Open the 99 up and see if there are a few rough edges you could make a bit better.

My 99 was reallllly harsh but it sill shot accurately if i did my bit ?

  9. Been up today for a bit put a bit more peanut butter up for them. Going back tomoro afternoon see if its getting then to come out a bit more. Going to get some pipe and try that too Pledgey ? nailed one at 16 yards with the .22 aas510 today. It came out and looked at a spot that id smeared with peanut butter other day, but its all been wiped clean so they must be eating it. Got a squirrel and a woody too. Woody was a neck shot so i finished it off with me no7 Opinel to the head ?
