    Well I've just put my FAC application in for a .22-250 & phoned to ask Thames Valley Police firearms department what their current wait time is. Shocked to hear it could be 2 months before the forms get passed to the visiting officer & then a total of 5 months before a final decision is passed. Oh well I will just have to be prepared to hassle them every month or so I suppose. Good news is if I do get my certificate ok a friends brother-in-law who is a beat keeper on a nearby estate is moving on to a new job controlling the deer on another Oxfordshire estate & they

    Does anyone know where I can purchase numbered peg markers from? The ones we use now are mostly homemade by our keeper & are looking the worse for wear, I did buy him some BASC ones for last season but we need more & they don't seem to have them in their online shop anymore. I've tried the likes of Litts, John Norris etc but no joy. Off to our local Countrywide store tomorrow to see if they have some. Many thanks Chris
