  1. Ahh thats good to know then if being an outside toe he was still a good runner. Hes 6 years old now and still acts young and daft so hopeing he wont even realise its gone
  2. I will go for it, hopefully he will still be as good of a worker as now but had a good few years with him so dont mind if not, aslong as hes happy am happy. And yes your very right about bullx hes terrible with sharp turns but they all have there strenghs. Thanks alot everyone, will let yous no how it goes.
  3. Thanks appriciate advice. Yes hes a bullx lurcher and its a back middle one. The nail has cracked and made the pad swell up but its hardening, i have tried clipping the nail back but its a bit too far gone for that now i think. Thanks
  4. Hi Just woundering if anyone has had a toe removed off their dog before and did it effect them? My dog broke his toe over a year ago which has healed and had no effect untill now..the nail is dead and split causing his toe pad to swell. Vet reccomended removing full toe but dont want to effect his movement. Anyone had this problem? Thanks
  5. Hi I am a new member,always reading this site for advice and storys so finally joined. My life is all about being outside with my dogs. I have working bullx and terriers. My interests are horses,hounds and a bit of ferreting but mainly the bullx lurchers. Here to share interests and read advice . Thanks
