ginge2k6 0
now dont piss about because i take what you say as law i was out this morning (just got in) and i'm worried about my dog. hes trailing rabbits he should be picking up easily. we were walking on a path and there were rabbits running across to the fence on the other side and a young rabbit lifted right beside him he chased it but he couldnt get to it in time the gap whent from a few feet to a couple of metres and the rabbit was safe before he could lunge for it. also he isnt seeing the rabbits to we are right on top of them he should be able to see the rabbits i can see have i been sold a failure Quote Link to post
Guest mucker
i wouldnt worry about it not seeing them till your on top of them is because i think most of the time the dog relys on movement so if the rabbits sitting tight it doesnt matter that you can see them. if you put the lamp on a sitter the dog should go regardless. also after a time dogs get clever and know when somethings out of reach regardless of what you think so wont run. and every dog misses those gifts from time to time. what cross is? it how old? edited to add i might be wrong but it could be the dog hasnt done anything in which case you,ll have to start from scratch get it out on the lamp and a few easy sitters.
