Coney 3 Posted May 17, 2008 Report Share Posted May 17, 2008 Have read one or two recent posts on here regarding the apparent shortage of rabbits on peoples shoots this year, just a quick post to say I don't know about anyone else but I've never seen so many. Up here in the Pennines me and "goldenarms" were out the other afternoon and spied these little beauties about 70 yards out on a piece of land sadly not yet in our possesion. Just goes to show there are still plenty you've just got to get the right piece of land and go for a mooch at the right time. Regards Coney. Quote Link to post
celticwar 1 Posted May 17, 2008 Report Share Posted May 17, 2008 on my shoot to theres loads loads of them ... south lincs area + hares when i lived on the farm there was no hares but now i see one or two every day im out .leave them i do the farmer wants hares he says there getting rare .... also the rooks this year theres loads ... on my shoot .. SEAN3513 7 Posted May 17, 2008 Report Share Posted May 17, 2008 same here fellas...............................never seen so many!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just got a new permission , went for a walk round the other night...........counted 62 rabbits in 1 1/2hrs...............didn't have my fecking gun!!!!!!!!!!....next time though!! hasn't been shot since the mid eighties................gonna be good, me thinks!!
