ferret20 1 Posted October 25, 2016 Report Share Posted October 25, 2016 well lads. im thinking of applying for a gun licence. i live in ireland and i was wondering if any irish lads could answer this question, i was wondering is it legal to shoot rabits in the mountain areas around ireland. i know that ill have to get land permissions from local farmers to get a licence .theres alot of mountain areas that dont belong to farmers as such. is it legal or illegal to shoot rabits in the mountains. im surrounded by the galtee mountains. reason im asking is i often go camping up there with a few mates every now and again. I know it's a bit of an exaggeration but you wouldn't like it if I turned up in your garden and started shooting would you? It might take some research but you could find yourself with thousands of acres to shoot on with permission. Do it right and ask mate. 1 Quote Link to post
