jasper65 6
hi guys can anyone tell me where i can get a dna test or kit from i brought a peregrine/barbery so say female, but her flying weight was 1lb 8oz so i have doughts to weather it is a female as iv seen a male for sale at the same weight. any help appreciated I know a falconer who was flying a pure Barbary falcon which flew around 25 oz's. personaly its not the flying weight I would be worried about and more of her top aviary weight or penning weight. some people feel the need to have their birds sharper than needed, others may fly the same bird alot higher depending on its condition. what was her top aviary weight? It sounds a female to me to be honest Barky, I wouldn't think many Pere x Barbary tiercels top out at 1lb 8 let alone fly at that weight. if you are still worried about it there are a few places that can DNA sex the bird for you on the internet Quote Link to post
