I have been doing a lot of pigeon sitty tree shooting recently and in the last two weeks i have good quite good. All in all i have seven pigeons in the freezer all shot within the last week ready for pigeon pie tommorow. I got two today i had waited about an hour and 15mins and was about to leave just as i popped out of my hide the first pigeon i had seen landed with a partner not hesitating i put up the gun from standing saw the neck squeeze. It dropped like a stone happy with a result i went to retrieve it just as two more landed [bANNED TEXT] above me even though i was in the open again not hesitating put the gun up and took it in the head. here are some pics of a few i shot not all from recently.

Yeh birds are crafty buggers. Nice shooting though mate.

Cheers lads for the last couple of day i have gone out at 5ish and had birds by 1/4 past yesterday however they came around 6ish and today the majority came at 6 so im going out at 5:30 ish tommorow and should get a load. i used to find it hard to hunt pigeons now its soo much easier. To be honest they drop really easy if you know how. there is one Hazel tree i think thats what it is and there have been up to 30 birds in the one tree shame they fly when one drops.
